The kittens have a weird new habit, ‘get in the shower with mommy’. In particular Millie, she’s just obsessed with the shower head, or possibly the tinkling of the water. Whichever it is, this evening was her boldest adventure, she sat in the bath right beside the falling water as I was washing my hair. When I was finished washing my hair over the bath and got in for a shower, both of them sat and watched me the whole way through. I could be unnerved by that, or I could just call it cute. Cute it is.
Another glorious day today, hot but with a refreshing coolness in the light breeze. It’s not dreadfully unusual for us to get a bout of good weather in May over here, but I suppose it is a little odd that we’re getting 20+ figures. I’m getting used to it though, and if it suddenly disappears, I shall be rather miffed.
Not much other than work dancing around in my brainypan. I’m still mulling the writing thing, but with being busy in work, it’s a little difficult to step out of my present tense, brain-full-of-work buzz and go delving into my mind creatively. All my creative is going into selling, and to be honest, a lot of the time it’s a fun thing, pitting ones wits and all that.
Anyway, to bed with me lest I find myself tired and crappy tomorrow, I have a lot on tomorrow following a late rush this evening which pushed a pile of stuff onto my morning schedule. Ugh. How businessy. Go back and read the kitten paragraph if you’re feeling unclean.
Nighty night all!

Silly kitties.
Changing gears like that is a difficult thing to do. I did it with two jobs several years ago and it was a wear, to be sure. It will come and then you’ll have trouble turning it off again.
That’s a bit mad. Our Amy goes mad if you even sprinkle a bit of water at her.
Yes. Not your usual kitty reaction at all. Now if you had a pair of raccoons, I’d expect it. My darlin, Kemo Sabe, just loved for me to turn on the water in the bath tub so he could play with it, and once I caught him just as he tried to clumb onto the toilet seat which ’somebody’ had left UP, and, with him clinging on for dear life, it was slowly sinking into the ‘down’ position with him about to have a nice dunking. Caught him just before he was submerged.
yes, our Emily and Spike cats love the tub and get in just after a shower and play
