Work is going arseways again, the words ‘laid off’, ’sacked’ etc. are back on the agenda. I’m not too phased, but it’s irksome. More tomorrow

There’s a lot of talk about lay offs going around just now. Down here in sleepy Somerset it’s estate agents getting the worst of it. I weep for them, honest I do.
There have been some here in Ontario, but it’s a weird mix: Dell is closing their Ottawa call centre in the fall (1100 people) and General Motors is closing a truck plant near Toronto (another 1000).
THEY ARE FOOOOOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so lucky to have you. F#ck ‘em.
